MU's Invincibility

Time goes by oh so slowly when you're eagerly anticipating for a certain event to arrive. Excitedly waiting for tomorrow - Sunday, April 19th and 10:30pm local time to be exact - to arrive. That is when the invincible Manchester United FC, champions of England, Europe and the World, will take on Everton FC in the second semi-final of the English FA Cup at Wembley Stadium.

This season Manchester United FC is on track for 5 trophies. Already the Club World Cup and Carling Cup are in the bag. MUFC has one hand on the English BPL, leading the league table by 1 point ahead of nearest rival Liverpool FC but with 1 game in hand. The league is getting more exciting now as it nears it tail-end with Chelsea FC still challenging, but the bet is on MUFC retaining the league for a third consecutive season, and that would be 3 in the bag.

Comes tomorrow, MUFC will take on outsiders Everton FC in the FA Cup's second semi-final to decide the second finalist to take on either Chelsea/Arsenal in the final. Well, the bet here is again on MUFC making the final and another cup in sight when it disposes its' rival. That would be 4 in the bag.

Then comes the Champions' League 1st leg semi-final against Arsenal at the end of this month. After MUFC had disposed of Arsenal in the 2 legs semi-final, either Barcelona/Chelsea will stand in its' way to an unprecedented 5 trophies in 1 season. Here again, neither Barca nor Chelsea is going to stop the marauding Red Devils.

Wow! 5 trophies in a season for Manchester United FC the Invincible. That would be a new benchmark. Arrogance? That's the mark of a champion. Those who attain success are those who crave it, come rain or shine! CIAO!
