Now For Arsenal's Scalp (Updated)

Tonight's the night. The start to Champions' League title defence. Manchester United will host Arsenal tonight at Old Trafford for the 1st leg of the 2nd semi-final. (The 1st semi-final between Barcelona and Chelsea played at the Nou Camp ended in a scoreless draw).

Tonight's the night for MU's defence to show what they are made of. MU's defence must be on full alert and cut off all of Arsenal's build-ups. Arsenal will be going on the offensive from the first whistle as promised by Arsene Wenger. MU's Rio Ferdinand and partner in defence, Nemanja Vidic, have to show the Arsenal's strike force who's the boss here. And as Arsenal's Emmanuel Adebayor said, Vidic is the toughest defender there is and who is also capable of scoring goals.

Tonight's the night for MU's midfield to show what they are made of. They have to marshall the midfield with authority and force their presence unto Arsenal. They have to fight for every ball as if their lives depended on it. They have to help the defence to cut off all of Arsenal's build-ups and at the same time supply the forwards with ammos after ammos. They have to be unrelenting in their quest.

Tonight's the night for MU's forwards to show what they are made of. They have to shake off the attentions from Arsenal's defence and try very hard to put away chances that come their way and try not to waste too many. They have to be clinical in their finishing, otherwise they could be punished by Arsenal.

So tonight's the night for Manchester United FC to show what they are made of. Arsenal are by no means a pushover, so come rain or shine, MU have to see off their challenge and comes out victorious. That's the only result acceptable. CIAO!

Updates :
Manchester United 1 - Arsenal 0
John O'Shea scored the lone goal in the first half to take MU to the Emirates for the return leg next Wednesday.
